HOW TO
To enter a competition, you can put your name down in a folder by the pro shop to be included in a draw, which is a great way to meet new people or you can play off your own tee times with friends. To enter a competition costs just £1, this goes into the club funds. On top of that there is the option to pay £2 for the sweep, this is the prize pot that is split between the winners for those who enter the sweep. These are paid out in vouchers that can be spent in the club shop or put into credit for the bar upstairs. There is also another option to pay £2 to enter the Two’s. This is a separate competition with the pro (Fraser), if you get a 2 you win the pot or a share of it if more than one person gets a 2. So, to play in a comp you have the option to pay £1, £3 or £5 it is entirely up to you. The exception to this is the Club Championships where the prizes are bigger, the pot is shared equally between scratch and net prizes, with scratch prizes paid in cash. It is against R&A rules for any non-scratch prizes to be paid in cash hence the voucher scheme. The competition cards are entered into the WHS by the pro shop and the results will appear on “how did I do” and this website. Do not use the app or terminal when entering a competition as this put your score through twice.
When you enter a competition, your card will be entered into the WHS by the team in the pro shop. We also encourage all golfers to enter cards every time you play, this can be done via the MyEG app or by using the terminal outside the pro shop. All rounds should pre-registered on one of these systems before you commence your round. There are more details in the FAQ section on the handicap tab.

The “MyEG” app is a platform golfers can use to track their handicap and scoring record. Furthermore, it is an app whereby you can enter general play cards, follow your friends scoring and find out your course handicap for any course in the UK.
To set up an account, firstly you need to have your email address registered with the pro shop/club. Secondly you need to know your CDH id. If you can tick both these boxes, download the ‘MyEG’ app. Once you have downloaded the app, select to register as a club member, then follow the steps on the screen to register.
Any questions, please ask in the pro shop and they will be able to help as they deal with the registration process.

As a club we use a booking app called BRS golf. To set up an account, firstly you need to have your email address registered with the pro shop/club. Secondly, you will need a username. This username would have been issued to you by the pro shop when first joining the club. If you are unsure of your username, please ask in the pro shop.
Once these steps are complete, download the BRS golf app. Once you have downloaded the app, the first thing you will need to do is search for our golf club. This will then bring up the Seaford Head members sign in page.
Simply type in your issued username then click ‘forgot password’. This will trigger an email to be sent to your registered email address, where you can then change your password. Doing this will also trigger an email to be sent to the pro shop email address, where the Fraser and the team will enable your access to the booking system. Any questions, please ask in the pro shop and they will be able to help as they deal with the registration process.
By being a member you have access to Tee times 24 hours ahead of the general public. Please remember to cancel tee times with the pro shop if you can’t make it for any reason. Failure to do this will result in your access to the system being withdrawn.
