Super Vets Champion
The inaugural AJ Lowles 'SuperVets' Trophy was won by Roy Doyle with an aggregate of 75 Stableford points over the two rounds of play. He is pictured here with the presentation party: Tony Lowles granddaughter, Aimee and daughter-in-law, Maranda.
Roy was second after the first day but soon went into the lead with birdies on the first two holes of the second round. Alex Wingfield played excellent golf in amassing 37 points on Day 2 and Brian Powell was a model of consistency throughout but neither could get close enough to Roy as they took 2nd and 3rd place respectively with a 72 point total.
Congratulations to Roy, the first winner of the SuperVets and a trophy dedicated to Tony Lowles, an iconic name in the history of SHGC.
